Rajasthan | A unique theft incident has come to light in Jodhpur, the second largest city of the state. Late night 16 donkeys were stolen from the rural district of Jodhpur. Thieves carried out the theft of 16 donkeys one after the other late in the night from an enclosure in the village. Meanwhile, the owner of the donkeys has registered a case of theft of 16 donkeys. After which the Jodhpur Rural Police has started in search of 16 donkeys.

Last night 16 donkeys were stolen from Jaitiwas village of Jodhpur district. 16 donkey thieves stole one after the other from the shed near the house of Bhanwarlal Dewasi, a resident of the village. In the morning when Bhanwarlal reached the enclosure near his house, all the donkeys were found missing from the enclosure. Therefore, Bhanwarlal has lodged an FIR in the rural police station for theft of 16 donkeys.

The owner of the donkeys, Bhanwarlal, has lodged a named FIR against Gulab Ram Laxman Ram and Punaram Bhat, residents of the village, suspecting the theft of donkeys. Head constable Biraram said that after registering a case on the report of Bhanwar Lal Dewasi, three people who have been accused of stealing donkeys are being questioned.

Donkeys are used to carry soil

Actually donkeys are used to carry soil inside the village. Therefore, the people of Bhat society do the business of carrying soil through donkeys. This is the reason why Bhanwarlal Dewasi has filed a named report against three people and accused them of stealing 16 donkeys. The owner of the donkeys, Bhanwarlal Dewasi, told that their livelihood work is done only by doing business of donkeys in the village.

Number of donkeys decreasing in Jodhpur

In fact, the number of donkeys is continuously decreasing in the division along with Jodhpur, this is the reason that due to the decrease in the number of donkeys, their prices are also increasing continuously. Talking about Jodhpur district, the price of a donkey has reached from 15000 to 25000. The police also believe that these donkeys have been stolen due to rising prices. At present, the police have registered a case and started questioning the three accused named.
