Mumbai: Gauahar Khan's father is no more. The past few days at the hospital where she was looking after her dad had been emotionally tough for the actress and today, she took to her social media handle and informed everyone that her father has passed away.In her farewell note to her father, Gauahar called him her 'hero' and shared how she takes after her father in many ways.Posting her father's photo, Gauahar wrote, "My Hero. No man like u , Ever 💔! My father has passed, to the ever after as an Angel. Alhamdulillah. His passing away was a testament to his beautiful life n the best soul he was. Forever My Pappa. I love you oh so much."
She added, "I am sooooo much of you Pappa. N yet can never ever be even a percent of your magnanimous personality #MyForeverShiningStar Keep him in your prayers please...innal lillahee wainna ilayhi raajeeoon."It is Gauahar's close friend Preeti Simoes, who first shared the news of his demise. She shared a video and captioned it as, "Mere Gauahar ke pappa..To the man i loved...He Lived with pride ... and will be remembered with pride. Strength and Love to the family.Gauahar's elder sister, who stays in Dubai, is also on her way home. She also made a post for her late father.Gauahar's father had not been keeping well and was hospitalised. She had shared several posts earlier, asking her fans to pray for his good health.
