According to the report, incidents of vandalism inside temples were also reported in Hajiganj in Chandpur, Banskhali in Chattorgram and Pekua in Cox's Bazar.

According to the Dhaka Tribune, the situation went out of control and riots broke out at several Durga Puja places one after the other. According to the Daily Star news, at least three people have been killed and several people have been injured in the riots. These three deaths occurred during a clash between the police and the mob in Hajiganj area of ​​Chandpur.

According to the report, seeing the situation going out of hand, the Bangladesh government has deployed the Anti Terrorism Unit of the country's Police Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) and the paramilitary force i.e. Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB).
