Rajasthan Weather Update: The weather has changed in Rajasthan. Hailstorm has fallen so much in Udaipur that the ground has turned white there. In Udaipur, up to 15 mm of hail fell with rain. It is raining in Jalore for the last about 10 hours. Due to the hailstorm in Udaipur, huge piles of hail fell in many areas. Farmers have suffered huge losses due to heavy hailstorm. It is raining intermittently in Udaipur since Saturday night. People are facing a lot of problems due to the rains in the rural areas of Udaipur.

Seeing the damage caused to the crops due to hailstorm, lines of worry have drawn on the forehead of the farmers. Due to hailstorm in Udaipur, there has been heavy damage to the crops.

Due to the activation of Western Disturbance in Jalore district of Jodhpur division, continuous rains have been going on for the last 10 hours. The rain which started on Saturday night is going on till Sunday morning. The crops of the farmers have suffered huge damage due to this rain. Due to unseasonal rains for 10 hours with strong winds in Jalore district, huge damage is expected to the crops standing in the fields of the farmers of the district. In Bhinmal, Sanchore, Raniwada of Jalore district, standing crops in about 1.5 lakh hectares are estimated to be destroyed.

The farmers of Jalore district are facing a double whammy this time. Due to the first cold wave, up to 40 percent castor crop was destroyed in the district. At the same time, 60 percent of vegetable crops were also destroyed. Now, due to the unseasonal rains due to the activation of the Western Disturbance, it is being estimated that about 1.5 lakh hectares of cumin, mustard and other types of crops standing in the farmers' fields will be destroyed.

The Western Disturbance had become active in Rajasthan since Saturday afternoon. Due to its effect, the weather of many districts had started changing. The Meteorological Department had also expressed the possibility of hailstorm in some districts. According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, it rained in many districts.
