The ‘Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior’ actor showering his wishes stated that as the birthday is on the set in Scotland, please stay safe. He wrote, “Happy Birthday Akki. I know it’s an on set birthday in Scotland. Stay safe. Best wishes for all times to come”The duo will be again seen in the film ‘Sooryavanshi’. It is an action film directed by Rohit Shetty and written by Yunus Sajawal. It is bankrolled by Aruna Bhatia, Apoorva Mehta and Rohit Shetty. It is the fourth installment of Shetty’s Police Universe. Akshay will be seen in titular role opposite Katrina Kaif. While Ajay Devgn and Ranveer Singh reprise their roles of Singham and Simmba from the franchise's previous films.The film co-stars Gulshan Grover, Abhimanyu Singh, Niharica Raizada, Jackie Shroff, Sikandar Kher, Nikitin Dheer, Vivan Bhatena and Javed Jaffrey.Kumar's character was announced towards the end of Simmba that served as a character introduction of Sooryavanshi. He is playing DCP Veer Sooryavanshi, the chief of the Anti-Terrorism Squad.
