New Delhi: Politics continues on Corona vaccine. When some state governments raised the demand for more vaccines, the Center termed it a tactic to hide the failure of the states. The Union Health Ministry had written a letter to three states Maharashtra, Punjab and Delhi to increase the pace of vaccination. Vaccination in these states is less than the national average.

Maharashtra Health Minister Rajesh Tope said, "People have to be sent back due to lack of medicine. People from 20 to 40 age groups are getting priority." Punjab Health Minister Balbir Singh Sidhu Said, "During the day, the Akali Dal walks around with the corona in the rallies." Delhi Minister Gopal Rai said, "It is unfortunate that the vaccine is being exported by not giving most of the vaccine to the countrymen."

Harshvardhan's answer

Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan replied to the tweet by those who questioned the vaccination. He said, "10 states have given first dose to 90% health workers. While 86% in Maharashtra, 72% in Delhi and only 64% in Punjab have been vaccinated. At the same time, there are 12 states / union territories which have given second dose to more than 60% health workers. But only 41% of Maharashtra and Delhi and 27% of health workers in Punjab got second dose. ''

Through the tweet, the Health Minister has tried to explain that the states where the frontline workers, health workers and senior citizens are yet to get vaccinated, they are also demanding vaccination for everyone. The Ministry of Health says that vaccination is a scientific process. Will proceed in a phased manner.
