Brett Lee on Andrew Symonds: Australia's legendary all-rounder Andrew Symonds died in a car accident on Saturday night. Symonds breathed his last at the age of 46. Symonds' career ended in controversy, playing 26 Tests, 198 ODIs and 14 T20Is for Australia. Symonds will always regret that her relationship with her friend Michael Clarke never got better. The reason for the breakdown of friendship between the two was to some extent the money received in the IPL. The process of paying tribute to Symonds continues. Symonds' teammate and former Australia fast bowler Brett Lee has also paid his tribute to the legendary all-rounder.

Brett Lee has also broken his silence on the relationship between Symonds and Clarke and has also given his opinion about the money Symonds will get in the IPL. It is believed that due to this money, the friendship of Symonds and Clark was broken. Brett Lee played 24 Tests, 135 ODIs and 12 T20 Internationals with Symonds from 2000 to 2009. Brett Lee wrote on Twitter that former all-rounder Symonds never played for money.

He said, 'I knew Roy (Andrew Symonds) from junior cricket since the age of 17. One of the most talented athletes I have ever seen. He never played for money or fame. All these things were irrelevant to him. As long as he had a cold beer, Roy was happy. He was selected for the first time in any team.

Symonds was the top fielder of his time, playing 26 Tests and 198 One Day Internationals for Australia from 1998 to 2009. He was a member of the Australian team that won the World Cup in 2003 and 2007. In the IPL, he played for Deccan Chargers and Mumbai Indians, in which he was a part of Deccan Chargers' title win in 2009.
