Honda CB300R 2022 / Honda made the mid-size segment strong, launched a new 300cc bike, booking started

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India) (HMSI) on Wednesday announced the launch of the 2022 Honda CB300R motorcycle in India. The company has fixed the ex-showroom price of 2022 Honda CB300R in Delhi at Rs 2.77 lakh. The new CB300R is available in two color options - Matte Steel Black and Pearl Spartan Red.

Booking start

The bookings for the new CB300R motorcycle have started and is available through the two-wheeler manufacturer's Bigwing premium retail chain. The 2022 Honda CB300R cements the Japanese two-wheeler brand's footprint in the mid-size motorcycle segment in India.

Look and design

This new-sports cafe racer motorcycle was showcased at the India Bike Week in December 2021. It comes with a design that mixes retro style with modern elements. The circular headlamps get LED units and integrated LED daytime running lights. It gets sleek LED daytime running lights on its sides.

Engine Details

The 2022 Honda CB300R is powered by a 286cc DOHC 4-valve liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine with PGM-FI technology. The bike also gets assist and slipper clutch.

Braking and suspension

The 2022 Honda CB300R gets a 296mm hub-less floating disc brake at the front and a 220mm rear disc brake at the rear with dual-channel ABS. Suspension setup includes golden upside-down front forks.

Features

A full digital display, attractive and muscular fuel tank, split seats, a sleek LED taillight, contrasting exhaust, black alloy wheels, engine block protector are other design elements that add to the premium visual appeal of the motorcycle. The compact digital instrument display displays a wealth of information. It gets gear position and side stand indicator with engine inhibitor.

Speaking about the motorcycle, Atsushi Ogata, Managing Director, President and CEO, HMSI said, “Since its launch, the Honda CB300R has followed high standards of engineering. Yadvinder Singh Guleria, Director - Sales & Marketing, HMSI said that the new CB300R comes with Assist and Slipper Clutch that reduces fatigue and golden upside down forks with precise riding and more sporty appeal.
