Gmail keeps giving some gifts to its users. Over the years, we have seen tons of smart features here to make our email experience enjoyable. Earlier this year, Google made Google Workspace features free to all users, including calling. This is not a new feature as it was previously available through Hangouts. However, Google has now made it more convenient to access.

With the latest version of Gmail, you can easily make calls from any device, whether it's a laptop, your Android smartphone or tablet, or your iPhone. Here we are telling you the simple way to make calls from any device.

How to Make Gmail Calls on Android and iPhone

Making Gmail calls on Android and iPhone devices is super easy. If you have a regular Gmail account:

- Open the Gmail app and tap the "Meet" button on the taskbar.

- Now tap on "New Meeting" button. You'll get options to start an instant meeting, share a meeting link, or schedule it in Google Calendar.

- If you choose to join the instant meeting, tap the "Share Invite" button to share the link with your caller.

- Once they tap on the link, they will be automatically taken to the meeting space. You can add multiple participants to a Gmail meeting.

If you have a Google Workspace account, the process is similar. However, you can also use Google Chat Spaces to make calls.

- Open Gmail and tap the "Chat" button.

- Select and open your chat window from the listed people.

- Now tap on the "+" icon and select "Meet Link".

- You will see a meet link in the text box which you have to send.

- Now both you and your contact need to tap on the link to start the meeting.
