ICC Awards 2022: International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the dates of ICC Awards 2022, which are starting on Monday, 23 January. Following the announcement of 13 individual awards last month, the ICC Voting Academy and hundreds of global cricket fans cast their votes to recognize the best performers of the year, which included the ICC Women's Cricket World Cup, the ICC Men's T20 World Cup and other international events. ICC announced the dates

The ICC will determine five Teams of the Year, including the prestigious Sir Garfield Sobers Trophy for the ICC Men's Cricketer of the Year and the Rachael Hayhoe Flint Trophy for the ICC Women's Cricketer of the Year, before the individual award-winners are announced. The ICC men's and women's T20 teams will be announced on Monday. The next day, on January 24, the ICC Men's and Women's ODI Team of the Year and the ICC Men's Test Team of the Year will be named.

Awards will be given till January 26

The focus will then shift to 13 individual award categories from January 25, when the ICC confirms the winners of the Associate, T20 and Emerging Cricketer of the Year categories in both men's and women's categories. On January 26, the last day of announcements, the Umpire of the Year will be recognized by the ICC. After this, the Men's and Women's ODI Cricketer of the Year awards and Men's Test Cricketer of the Year awards will be given.

After 26 January, the ICC will announce the winner of the Rachael Hayhoe Flint Trophy for Women's Cricketer of the Year, followed by the Sir Garfield Sobers Trophy for ICC Men's Cricketer of the Year. The announcements of the ICC Awards 2022 will end with the winner of the ICC Spirit of Cricket Award.
