Delhi: Mamta Banerjee has called a meeting in Delhi today regarding the Presidential election. It is being said that he has invited a total of 18 parties in this, but parties like BJD, TRS and Aam Aadmi Party have refused to participate. The ruling party of Odisha says that we will take any decision regarding the presidential election after seeing the NDA candidate. BJD sources said that if the name of Draupadi Murmu, who is in discussion on behalf of NDA, is carried forward, then it will be difficult for us to oppose her. Actually Draupadi comes from the Murmu tribal community and was born in Odisha itself. Not only this, in the year 2000, she was also a minister of Odisha in the coalition government of BJP and BJD. In such a situation, BJD will not want to protest in the name of state and tribal leader.If BJP candidate is supported by BJD, then it will be easy for him to win the presidential election. Talking about the mathematics of Presidential election, the value of total votes is 10,79,206. NDA needs more than half the votes i.e. 5 lakh 40 thousand votes to win in this election. BJP alone has votes worth 4,59,414. Apart from this, the value of votes of its ally JDU is 22,485 and that of AIADMK is 15,816. Thus the value of the total votes of NDA is 4,97,715.
In this situation, NDA is short of votes worth only 43 thousand. Talking about BJD, the value of its votes is 31,686. At the same time, the value of votes of Andhra Pradesh's ruling party YSR Congress is 43,450. In such a situation, if there is support from his side too, then NDA will win very easily. The way there is a split in the opposition, it does not seem difficult for the NDA to win. In fact, there is also a discussion going on that BJP can give ticket to any leader of tribal or minority community, which will be difficult for any party to oppose.
