Al-Qadir Trust Case / Imran Khan arrested from Islamabad High Court – tension in Pakistan, supporters on the streets

Al-Qadir Trust Case: Former Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan was arrested from the Islamabad High Court at around 3 pm on Tuesday. He was arrested by Pakistani Rangers. Imran Khan had reached the High Court for bail in 2 cases. Imran's party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) alleged – Khan is being beaten. The party has also posted a video of Imran's lawyer lying in a pool of blood. IG Akbar Khan said that Imran has been arrested in the Al-Qadir Trust scam case. According to Pakistan's newspaper 'The Dawn' - Al Qadir Trust scam is worth more than 50 billion rupees and only Imran and his wife Bushra Bibi took advantage of it.

In a rally on Sunday, Imran made very serious allegations against Faisal Naseer, chief of the political wing of the intelligence agency ISI. Khan had said – Faisal wants to kill me. Some officers are supporting them in this. The army was forced to come forward and dismiss these allegations.

After this, Imran released a video message from the car before leaving for Islamabad from Lahore on Tuesday. Repeat the allegations in this. About 4 hours later, he was arrested from the court.

Imran went to court, followed by paramilitary, blocked gate with armored vehicles - eyewitnesses

An eyewitness told Pakistan's newspaper The Dawn – As soon as Imran Khan entered the High Court, the paramilitary forces also entered the High Court. The gates were blocked with armored vehicles. After a while Imran was caught and brought out.

Imran's party shared the video, Imran's lawyer was seen soaked in blood

Musarrat Cheema, leader of Imran's party PTI, said in a video message – Khan is being tortured. They are killing Khan Sahab. The video of Imran's lawyer has also been shared on the official Twitter account of the party.

Chief Justice asked - Why was he arrested and in which case?

Islamabad High Court Chief Justice Aamer Farooq ordered the Home Secretary and Islamabad Police Chief to appear in the court within 15 minutes after the arrest. Justice Farooq said- If the police chief does not appear in the court, then the Prime Minister of Pakistan will be called here. These people should come to the court and tell in which case and why Imran was arrested?

Arrested in Al Qadir Trust case

Imran has been arrested in the Al Qadir Trust case. This is a university related matter. As Prime Minister, Imran illegally acquired land worth billions of rupees for this university. The matter was disclosed by Malik Riaz, the richest personality of Pakistan. Imran had taken this land from Malik Riaz only.

Rizay had alleged that Imran and his wife Bushra Bibi got the land worth billions of rupees in their name by showing them the fear of arrest. Later an audio of the conversation between Riyaz and his daughter was leaked. In this, Riyaz's daughter says that Bushra Bibi is constantly asking him for a five-carat diamond ring. On this Riyaz says that if she does our work then give her a five carat ring.

The special thing is that there are only two trustees in Al Qadir University. Imran and his wife Bushra. Only 32 students got admission in this university in 6 years. There are a total of 108 cases against Khan. Out of these, there are 4 such, in which his arrest is fixed. This is the reason why Khan does not appear before the court in any of these cases.

Imran got enmity with the army

In 2018, Imran Khan was made Prime Minister by the army itself. Later, he had a dispute with the then Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa over the transfer of ISI Chief Lt. Gen. Faiz Hameed. After this, the army sided with Shahbaz Sharif and toppled Imran's government in April last year.

After this, Khan started making statements against the army. He even called Bajwa a traitor. At a rally on Sunday, Khan accused a senior army officer, Faisal Naseer, of plotting the murder.

On Monday, the media wing of the army (ISPR) released a video. Said- Khan is making wrong allegations. Legal action can be taken against them. After this, Imran again released a video before leaving the Islamabad High Court on Tuesday. Said- Pakistan does not belong to the army only. I have told the truth. A military officer has conspired twice to kill me. I don't fear death. After this, as soon as he reached the High Court, Pakistani Rangers arrested him.

Imran caught in his own trick

There are 108 cases registered against Imran. He did not even appear before the court in any case for several months. On the other hand, Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Umar Ata Bandial is accused of shielding Khan in every case. The Lahore High Court grants him bail in every case. This is the reason why Khan wants to transfer all the cases registered against him to the Lahore High Court.

On Tuesday, the government and the army arrested Imran in a case that Khan could not even imagine. If he had an inkling, he would not have gone to appear in the court as before. Khan had come to Islamabad from his Zaman Park home in Lahore. This is the same house where police and Rangers came two months ago to arrest Khan and came under fierce attack. Later they came back empty handed.
