Rajasthan News: In the case of rape of a four-year-old innocent in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, the POCSO court has heard the case in just 53 days and sentenced it. The special court has ordered to keep the 25-year-old accused in jail till his last breath. The matter was heard in the court of Special Judge Anil Arya of POCSO Court. While writing its verdict, the court said that in this country the girl child is worshiped as a goddess. As such, this offense is not acceptable under any circumstances.

According to the case diary, this incident is of Balesar police station area on 6 July 2022. At the time of the incident, her parents were working in the nearby fields after making the four-year-old innocent sleep on the cot in front of the house. During this, accused Sumera Ram came and raped the innocent after seeing him alone. Seeing the people around who arrived when the girl screamed, the accused ran away leaving the girl behind. In a hurry, the girl was taken to the First Aid Center in Balesar, from where the doctors, seeing her condition, referred her to Jodhpur.

Arrested after one month 10 days

On receiving the information, the police had registered a case against the accused under the POCSO Act at the same time, but the arrest of the accused took place on August 17, a month and ten days later. After this, the police presented the speedy charge sheet in the court. On August 30, while preparing the final chargesheet, all the evidence and witnesses were presented before the court.
