Domestic steel giant Tata Steel on Saturday expressed dedication to investing ₹3,000 crores in Jharkhand withinside the subsequent 3 years to reinforce capacities.

The dedication was made to the release of the Jharkhand Industrial and Investment Promotion Policy (JIIPP) 2021 here, released through Chief Minister Hemant Soren. The Jharkhand authorities pursuits to facilitate funding to the tune of ₹1 lakh crore withinside the state and generate 5 lakh jobs via a two-day investors assembly, which concluded on Saturday here.


"Tata Steel plans to invest ₹3,000 crores withinside the subsequent 3 years in Jharkhand with the growth of capacities of coal and iron ore mines and downstream value-added steel portfolio," Chanakya Choudhary, vice president - Corporate Services, Tata Steel.

Mr Choudhary stated Tata Steel has been in Jharkhand for the beyond 114 years and it's far home to the steel company.


Mr Soren stated, "You all are a part of the Jharkhand own circle of relatives. And we need our family to develop in addition in order that the rich identity of the state is available in the front of the country and the world." The Chief Minister stated that an upgraded industrial policy has been organized and it's far a depend on the pleasure that Tata Steel has expressed willingness to put money into Jharkhand.


Eyeing to draw big-price price tag investments and make Jharkhand the main hub for the production of electrical cars, amongst others, Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Friday had supplied sops and centres to mega business players along with Tatas, Vedanta, SAIL, NTPC and Maruti Suzuki.
