Pahalgam Terror Attack: The horrific terrorist attack in the quiet hill town of Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir has further fuelled the fire of tension between India and Pakistan. After this attack, military and diplomatic activities have intensified in India, while there is an atmosphere of fear and panic in Pakistan. Press conference in Pakistan at midnight

Pakistan's Information Minister Ataullah Tarar, panicked by India's possible response, surprised everyone by holding an unusual press conference at around 2 am late night. In this press conference, Tarar claimed that he had received information from intelligence agencies that India could take military action against Pakistan within the next 24 to 36 hours. He also shared this statement on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), which made it clear that there is deep restlessness and panic in the top leadership of Pakistan.

Double language: fear and arrogance

While on one hand the fear of the Pakistani minister is clearly visible in his statements, he also tried to challenge India. Tarar said, "Any aggressive action will be responded to appropriately." Along with this, he also added that Pakistan itself has been a victim of terrorism and understands the pain of this crisis very well. This statement was given in counter to India's allegation that Pakistan supports terrorists.

Appeal to the international community

Tarar also said in his statement that Pakistan has offered to investigate the matter with an open heart and has appealed to the international community to understand the seriousness of this situation. He reiterated his commitment to protect Pakistan's sovereignty and territorial integrity.

There has been no formal military announcement from India so far, but the "free hand" given by PM Modi and the increased activities of security agencies make it clear that India is preparing to take tough steps.
