IND vs AFG: India has won the second T20 match against Afghanistan by 6 wickets. The team achieved the target of 173 runs for 4 wickets in the 16th over at Holkar Stadium, Indore. Opener Yashasvi Jaiswal played an inning of 68 runs on 34 balls, while Shivam Dubey scored unbeaten 63 runs on 32 balls. Earlier, Gulbadin Naib scored 57 runs on 35 balls for Afghanistan. Arshdeep Singh took three wickets from India.

After this victory, the Indian team has achieved an unassailable 2-0 lead in the 3-match series. The third match of the series will be played on January 17 in Bengaluru.

Jaiswal out after scoring 68 runs, Karim gets two wickets

Opener Yashasvi Jaiswal was out after scoring 68 runs on 34 balls. He was caught by Karim Janat on the third ball of the 13th over by wicketkeeper Rahmanullah Gurbaz. On the last ball of this over, Karim Janat sent Jitesh Sharma to the pavilion on zero.

Shivam Dubey's third half-century

Shivam Dubey scored a half-century in 22 balls. This is Dubey's third half century in International T-20.

Naveen-ul-Haq sent Virat to the pavilion

Fast bowler Naveen-ul-Haq dismissed Virat Kohli in the last over of the powerplay. Earlier, Kohli had hit a four off Naveen's ball. Team India's score in 6 overs of powerplay was 69/2 runs.

Farooqui bowled captain Rohit

India lost the wicket of Rohit in the very first over of the innings. Fazalhaq Farooqui bowled Rohit on the 5th ball of the over. Rohit returned after scoring 0 runs for the second consecutive time. Earlier, Rohit was run out in Mohali T-20.

Four wickets fell in the 20th over, two of which were runouts.

4 wickets fell in the over of Arshdeep Singh who was bowling his 20th over. He got Karim Janat caught by Akshar Patel on the first ball. Then Noor Ahmed was caught by Kohli on the 5th ball. There were two runouts on the last ball of the match. Actually, the sixth ball of this over was wide and Mujeeb ran out and was run out. After that, another ball was wide, in this too Fazalhaq Farooqui was run out.
