IND vs ENG: India has won the Visakhapatnam test by 106 runs. On Monday, England could score only 292 runs in the second innings at the Dr. YS Rajasekhar Stadium. The team had got the target of 399 runs. Ravichandran Ashwin and Jasprit Bumrah took 3 wickets each from India. With this Ashwin completed 499 test wickets. Yashasvi Jaiswal's double century in the first innings was the turning point for India. He played an inning of 209 runs and took the team beyond 396. England could not even touch the 300-run mark in both the innings. Shubman Gill from India also scored a century in the second innings.

Jasprit Bumrah took 9 wickets in the match, he had pushed England on the backfoot by taking 6 wickets in the first innings. Bumrah took the 10th wicket of England in the second innings. He was also the player of the match. With the victory in the second test, India has leveled the 5-Test series 1-1. England won the first test by 28 runs.

India won the toss and chose to bat first in Visakhapatnam on Friday. In the first innings, India scored 396 runs and England scored 253 runs. India scored 255 runs in the second innings.

England all out in the second session

The England team was all out in the second session of the fourth day. The team started playing with a score of 194/6 in 42.4 overs. Jasprit Bumrah took 2 wickets and Mukesh Kumar took one wicket. Shreyas Iyer's running out of Ben Stokes with a direct hit was the turning point in the session.

The England team could score only 292 runs and had to lose the match by 106 runs. In the second session the team scored 98 runs and lost 4 wickets.

Bumrah gets third wicket, England all out

Jasprit Bumrah bowled Tom Hartley and all out England. Hartley was out after scoring 36 runs in 47 balls. Bumrah took 3 wickets in the second innings. He also took important wickets of Jonny Bairstow and Ben Fox. Bumrah took 6 wickets in the first innings.

Mukesh gets first wicket, Bashir out

Mukesh Kumar got Shoaib Bashir caught behind. Bashir was out after playing 8 balls without opening the account. Mukesh took his first test wicket in India. He did not get any success in the first innings.

Fifty partnership in Hartley-Fox

Tom Hartley and Ben Fox have made a fifty partnership for the 8th wicket. Hartley completed the half-century partnership by taking a single against Mukesh Kumar in the 64th over. The team's 7th wicket fell at the score of 220 runs.

England lost 5 wickets in the first session

  • England lost 5 wickets in the first session of the fourth day. The team proceeded with its second innings with a score of 67/1. Rehan Ahmed became the victim of Akshar Patel after scoring 23 runs. Even after his wicket, England continued the attacking approach but due to this the team also lost wickets continuously.
  • Ollie Pope was out after scoring 23 runs, Joe Root 16 and Jonny Bairstow after scoring 26 runs. In the end, Jack Crowley became the victim of Kuldeep Yadav on the score of 73 runs after making a fifty in the second innings also. Ben Stokes remained not out at one end without opening the account. Ben Fox will lead England's innings with him in the second session.
  • England scored 127 runs and lost 5 wickets in the session. The team batted 26.4 overs. Ravi Ashwin took 2 wickets from India. While Akshar Patel, Kuldeep Yadav and Jasprit Bumrah also got one wicket each.
