IND vs ENG: The recently concluded Test series between India and England was exciting, which ended in a 2-2 draw. He has scored 7841 runs in 103 first class matches, including 27 centuries. Apart from this, he has 3857 runs in 89 List-A matches. Despite such a great performance, the captain and team management gave preference to players like Sai Sudarshan and Karun Nair, due to which Easwaran had to face disappointment throughout the tour.

3. Arshdeep Singh: Injury snatched away the chance to debut

Young fast bowler Arshdeep Singh was included in the Indian Test squad for the first time. His speed and swing bowling ability brought him to this opportunity, but misfortune did not favor him. He had a chance to be included in the playing XI in the fourth Test, but he was ruled out of that match due to a hand injury. After this, he did not get a chance in the fifth Test as well. As a result, he could not be a part of the playing XI of a single match in the entire series.
