U19 T20 WC: India has won the first Under-19 Women's Cricket World Cup title. The Indian team defeated England by 8 wickets in the final. Bowling first after winning the toss, India all out England for 68 runs in 17.1 overs. In response, India achieved the target for 3 wickets in 14 overs. Saumya Tiwari hits the winning shot.

Soumya Tiwari remained unbeaten on 24 runs for Team India. At the same time, captain Shefali Verma was dismissed for 15, Gongdi Trisha 24 and vice-captain Shweta Sehrwat scored 5 runs. Hannah Baker, Alex Stonehouse and Grace Servens took one wicket each for England.

scored 30 runs in powerplay

Team India scored 30 runs in 6 overs at a run rate of 5 in the powerplay. But, also lost the wickets of captain Shefali Verma and vice-captain Shweta Sehrawat. Shefali was dismissed for 15 and Shweta for 5 runs. England captain Grace Servens and Hannah Baker took one wicket each.

Second: Shweta Sehrawat fell victim to Grace Srivance on the fourth ball of the fourth over. He scored 5 runs.

Third: Gongadi Trisha was bowled by Alexa Stonehouse on the fifth ball of the 13th over. He scored 24 runs on 29 balls.

2-2 wickets for Archana, Parshvi, Sadhu

Archana Devi, Parshvi Chopra and Titas Sadhu have taken 2-2 wickets. Mannat Kashyap, Sonam Yadav and Shefali Verma got one wicket each. One batter was run out. Rayna McDonald-Gay scored the highest 19 runs for England.

English captain returned to the pavilion on 4 runs

England captain Grace Srivans was dismissed after scoring 4 runs. Before that, Alex Stonehouse 11, Sophia Small 11, Niamh Holland 10 runs, Josie Groves 4, wicketkeeper Seren Small 3 and Keris Pavle returned to the pavilion after scoring 2 runs. Bowling first after winning the toss, Team India broke England's back in the powerplay itself. The team walked Liberty Heap in the first over. In the fourth over, Archana Devi took 2 wickets and England's score was reduced to 3 wickets for 16 runs. India allowed England to score only 22 runs in 6 overs of the powerplay.

Second: On the third ball of the fourth over, Archana Devi bowled Niamh Holland. Holland scored 10 runs on 8 balls.

Third: On the last ball of the fourth over, Archana Devi got England captain Grace Srivance caught out. Opener Srivans could only score 4 runs.

Fourth: Titas Sadhu bowled Seren Small on the second ball of the 7th over. Small could only score 3 runs off 9 balls.

Fifth: Parshvi Chopra made Keris Pavle LBW on the last ball of the 10th over. Pavle scored 2 runs.

Sixth: In the 12th over, Rayna McDonald-Gay was dismissed by Parshvi Chopra. Archana Devi caught a brilliant catch and sent her to the pavilion for 19 runs.

Seventh: Josie Groves was run out after scoring 4 runs. She returned to the pavilion on the fifth ball of the 14th over.

Eighth: Shefali Verma stumped Hannah Baker in the first ball of the 15th over. Hannah became the victim of the Golden Duck.

Ninth: On the fourth ball of the 17th over, Mannat Kashyap sent Alexa Stonehouse to the pavilion. Alexa scored 11.

Tenth: Sophia Small got out after scoring 11 runs on the first ball of the 18th over. Sonam Yadav got him caught out on his own ball.
