Manipur Violence: Manipur violence has shaken the whole country. This violence completely ruined the Indian footballer as well. Indian footballer Chinglensana Singh Kozhikode's earnings so far have been reduced to ashes. His house has been set on fire. The turf, which was made with hard work to encourage the players, has also been burnt. His family narrowly escaped the violence, but he is living in a relief center. Entire Manipur is burning due to the rar that started between the two communities in May. When the violence started in Manipur, Chinglensana was playing for Hyderabad FC in the AFS Cup play-offs on 3rd May itself. He is a resident of Khumuzama Lakei in Churchandpur district.

Violence took everything

This violence took away everything from them. In an interview to PTI, Chinglensana says that whatever he had, everything was taken away. He was not in Manipur at that time, he came to know through phone and message that his house, football turf everything has been burnt. With difficulty he could talk to his mother on the phone and the mother spoke to him crying.

Family safe

He had decided to return home after hearing his mother's voice. His entire village was ruined. His family survived the violence. Chinglensana is now trying to overcome this and make a fresh start. Because of this, he had also withdrawn from the camp of the Indian football team in Bhubaneswar before the Intercontinental Cup. He made his international debut for India in 2021 against Oman. His debut match was a 1-1 draw.
