Zeeshan Siddiqui: Political turmoil continues in Maharashtra and meanwhile Zeeshan Siddiqui has opened a front against the Congress leadership. After being removed from the post of Mumbai Youth Congress chief, Siddiqui has said that nothing is going right with the minorities in Congress. Let us tell you that Zeeshan's father Baba Siddiqui had recently left Congress and joined Ajit Pawar led NCP. Siddiqui, MLA from Mumbai's Vandre East seat, said that if Congress has a problem with Muslims then why is the party pretending to be their messiah.

‘Mumbai Congress has never had a Muslim president till date’

Zeeshan Siddiqui said, 'Nothing is going well with the minority in Congress. 2 people who won the Youth Congress elections were not appointed to the post of President for 8-9 months. One of these two people was Zeeshan Siddiqui and the other was Mohammed from Karnataka. We were not created because of being Muslims. Is it a sin to be a Muslim in Congress? Till date no Muslim has been made president of Mumbai Congress. Currently in Congress, 3 out of 4 MLAs in Mumbai are Muslims but they will not make them president. He was made the president because he is a non-Muslim.

'...then why do Muslims pretend to be the Messiah?'

Taking aim at the Congress leadership, Zeeshan said, 'If Congress has a problem with Muslims then why pretend to be the messiah of Muslims? I was removed from the post of President of Mumbai Youth Congress without informing me. What was my fault? Is that why I am a Muslim? Because if Varun Gandhi is in BJP in the Gandhi family then how did Rahul Gandhi become the President of Congress? There are many examples in which Congress leaders have relatives in BJP, but no action is taken against them because their title is not Siddiqui. He is Gandhi, Walia or any non-Muslim.

'Rahul Gandhi's team is destroying the party'

Zeeshan said, 'Shiv Sena government has fallen due to its own deeds. The scams done during Covid are now in front of everyone. People are in trouble. Whenever I raised my voice, I used to get calls from Congress leaders asking me not to say anything against Shiv Sena. In MVA rallies, Uddhav Thackeray and Sanjay Raut used to say that we demolished Babri. How can we remain in alliance with such a party? Rahul Gandhi's team is destroying the party. It seems as if he has taken the betel nut from the people in front.

‘I was thrown away from Bharat Jodo Yatra’

Zeeshan Siddiqui made a big allegation and said that he was thrown away from 'Bharat Jodo Yatra'. He said, 'I was told to first lose 10 kg and then I will introduce you to Rahul Gandhi. There is no value in our Congress party, hence I am looking for an option. Congress does not need minorities.
