Reacting after scoring a double century, Ishaan said, "The wicket here was good for batting. My intention was clear. My name was taken among veterans, it is a matter of pleasure for me. When I was on 95, I wanted to play a big shot but he explained that this is your first century.

His innings included 24 fours and 10 sixes. In this match, India scored 409 runs at the loss of 8 wickets in 50 overs.
