Emmanuel Macron: French President Emmanuel Macron has strongly condemned the policies of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu after the recent ceasefire with Iran. Macron not only criticized the Israeli attacks on Iran, but also expressed condolences to the Iranian officials killed in these attacks. He said that all of Iran's nuclear activities are under the supervision of the IAEA, yet the US and Israel targeted them. Pezeshkian stressed that Israel is not a member of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) and has been violating international rules for a long time.Fear of future attackPezeshkian asked Macron what is the guarantee that Iran's nuclear installations will not be attacked in future. He expressed concern over the recent behavior of the IAEA and said that this has shaken the confidence of the Iranian people. Pezeshkian stressed that the IAEA and other international organizations will have to take concrete steps for peace and security so that trust can be restored.
