Chhattisgarh / Jashpur minor boy raped woman arrested Madhya Pradesh Hostage for 260 days accused sent to jail

Pathalgaon Police of Jashpur district of Chhattisgarh has arrested a woman who raped a minor boy forcibly. A 25-year-old woman abducted a 17-year-old by force and took him to a brick kiln in Madhya Pradesh. The woman held the juvenile hostage for 260 days and continued to rape her. When the teenager asked to go home, the woman used to scare him. The police arrested the accused woman and sent her to jail. The teen has been handed over to the relatives.

According to the information received from the police, a 45-year-old father resident of Pathalgaon police station area had lodged a missing report of his 17-year-old son on November 8, 2021. The police had registered a case of kidnapping under the orders of the Supreme Court. The investigation of the police was going on, when on July 27, the father reached the police station with his teenage son. During interrogation to the police, the minor told that a woman took him to a brick kiln in Madhya Pradesh under pressure and seduction and took him hostage there. During this, the woman continued to rape her.

Accused woman arrested, jailed

Jashpur SP D. Ravi Shankar said that a case has been registered against the accused woman after it was confirmed that the minor boy was kidnapped and raped by hostage. The police rescued the minor boy from the accused woman and handed her over to his family members. The accused woman has accepted all the charges during interrogation. Pathalgaon Police has registered an offense under sections 363, 365, 370(a)(1), 370(4) and 5,6 of the POCSO Act. The accused woman has been produced in the court and sent to jail.
