Business / Jet Airways to start commercial flights soon, gets permission from DGCA

New Delhi. After three years, once again the aircraft of the airline Jet Airways are ready to fly. The Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has given Air Operator Certificate (AOC) to Jet Airways to resume operations.

Jet Airways was closed since April, 2019

Jet Airways, which has been closed since April 2019, is in the process of restarting operations under the new promoter Jalan-Kalrock consortium. The Jalan-Kalrock consortium is currently the promoter of Jet Airways. Earlier this airline was owned by Naresh Goyal and he operated its last flight on April 17, 2019.


In the initial phase, operation will be done with women cabin crew.

Recently, a Jet Airways spokesperson had said, “As of now, in the current startup phase, we have only women in our cabin crew. But as employers giving equal opportunity to all, we will have men as cabin crew in the long run.”
