PAK vs NZ: Former New Zealand captain Kane Williamson played a charismatic inning in the first Test match of the series against Pakistan. He scored an unbeaten double century on the fourth day of the match being played in Karachi. In response to Pakistan's 438 in the first innings, New Zealand declared the innings by scoring 612 runs at the loss of 9 wickets on the basis of Williamson's double century. New Zealand took a 174-run lead over Pakistan on the basis of the first innings. Williamson, the hero of this strong performance of the Kiwi team, also achieved a special place in world cricket during his innings. He moved ahead of Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli in a club that includes only Rahul Dravid from India.

Williamson created history in Pakistan

Kane Williamson scored the 25th century of his career on the third day of the Karachi Test against Pakistan. The 32-year-old batsman, who scored the most Test centuries for New Zealand, also made a new record as soon as he touched the three-figure mark. He became the first non-Asian batsman to score Test centuries in 10 countries of the world. So far in his career, Williamson has scored Test hundreds in India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, UAE, Zimbabwe, West Indies, England, Australia and now Pakistan apart from his home country New Zealand.

South Africa will be Williamson's next target

Former Pakistan captain Younis Khan is at number one in the list of batsmen who have scored Test centuries in most countries, who did this feat in 11 countries. He is followed by batsmen who have scored Test centuries in 10 countries - Rahul Dravid, Mahela Jayawardene, Kumar Sangakkara, Mohammad Yousuf and Saeed Anwar. That is, Williamson has become the sixth batsman to score a century in 10 countries of the world. Williamson is yet to score a century in Test cricket against South Africa.

Williamson left Brendon McCullum behind

Kane Williamson made another record by scoring a double century in the first match of the series against Pakistan. He has become the batsman to score the most double centuries for New Zealand. Williamson scored his fifth career Test double century, surpassing former Kiwi captain Brendon McCullum who has four double centuries in his account.
