The Reserve Bank of India has instructed the banks across the country to use the machines to check the fitness of notes instead of counting the notes. According to this instruction of RBI, now the fitness of notes will be checked every three months. In such a situation, to check whether the note kept in your pocket is fit or unfit, RBI has set 11 standards.
