Lok Sabha Elections: Amidst the third phase of voting for the Lok Sabha elections, former Chief Minister of Bihar and RJD chief Lalu Yadav has given a big statement. He has advocated giving reservation to Muslims, after which politics has heated up. While on one hand BJP has counterattacked on this, Congress has shown the Constitution. On Lalu's statement, a rift has emerged between the Congress and RJD, the constituent parties of the Indian alliance.

Congress leader Jairam Ramesh said that the backward classes of our society should get reservation according to their population. The basic principle of our Constitution is social justice. Reservation is the path to social justice. What Rahul Gandhi has said is a guarantee, which we have given in our 'Nyay Patra'. We will increase the limit of 50 percent. This is the demand of every state. The Prime Minister and the Home Minister are running away from this question and are speaking on religion. Religion based reservation is wrong, it is a lie.

On Lalu Yadav's statement, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said, 'PM Modi is saying that the parties associated with INDI alliance are working to make a dent in the reservation of OBC, Scheduled Castes and Tribes. Their manifesto is proof of this. When the Congress led UPA government was in power, RJD and Samajwadi Party were its constituent parties. At that time these people had formed Ranganath Mishra Committee and Sachar Committee.

India alliance is laying the foundation for division of the country - CM Yogi

He further said, 'Ranganath Mishra Committee had mentioned that out of 27, 6 percent reservation should be given to Muslims, which was strongly opposed by BJP. We had said that there cannot be reservation on the basis of religion. Then an attempt was made to make a dent in the reservation of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes by forming the Sachar Committee. For this, some castes of Muslims were included in Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes. BJP had also opposed this.

CM Yogi said, 'Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar was against reservation on the basis of religion. He had said that there can be no reservation on the basis of religion. This became the reason for the partition of India and we should not do anything that will cause the partition of the country. Due to this, the rights of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes were saved. Whenever Congress, SP, RJD get a chance, they will try to make a dent in the reservations of Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Backward Castes and forcibly give them to minorities. The foundation stone for the partition of India is being laid by them, for which the voters should answer them.

What statement did Lalu Yadav give?

Lalu Prasad Yadav had asked reporters that you people are taking reservation from OBCs and giving it to Muslims. In response to this question, Lalu said that Muslims should get reservation. At the same time, on the statement of Union Home Minister Amit Shah that 'if INDIA alliance comes to power, there will be jungle raj in the country', Lalu said that he is so scared that he is provoking everyone. The public has understood that he wants to destroy the Constitution and democracy.
