Chandrayaan 3: India is ready to take another long and big leap in the world of space today. The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) is scheduled to launch Chandrayaan 3 at 2.35 pm today. That is, only a few hours are left for the launch of this spacecraft. This spacecraft will enter the Moon's orbit in the next 45 days while circling the Earth. The Prime Minister of the country Narendra Modi has tweeted about Mission Chandrayaan 3.

Moon mission

The goal of this mission is soft landing on the Moon. Running the rover on the lunar surface and collecting information about the elements present on the moon. About 700 crore rupees have been spent in preparing this vehicle. The lander of this vehicle will go to that part of the moon i.e. the deserted parts of the moon and gather information about the metals and other elements present there. It may take up to 45-48 days for the spacecraft to cover the distance from the earth to the moon.

PM Narendra Modi tweeted in this regard that as far as India's space sector is concerned, July 14, 2023 will always be inscribed in golden letters. Chandrayaan-3, our third lunar mission, will embark on its journey. This remarkable mission will carry forward the hopes and dreams of our nation. Let us tell you that earlier during Chandrayaan 2, everyone was disappointed due to ISRO losing contact with the lander. During this, the then chief of ISRO K. Sivan became emotional on which PM Modi consoled him by hugging him.

Arvind Kejriwal's tweet on Chandrayaan-3

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has tweeted about the launch of Chandrayaan-3 and congratulated ISRO. Arvind Kejriwal wrote that today is an important day for the country, through Chandrayaan-3 India is trying to step on the moon again. I congratulate all the countrymen and the scientists of ISRO.

These dates are important for Chandrayaan-3

14 July 2023: Chandrayaan-3 will take off from the launchpad at the Satish Dhawan Space Center in Sriharikota.

23/24 August 2023: ISRO scientists have planned a soft landing on the lunar surface on 23-24 August, which will make India join the list of countries that have achieved this feat. So far only America, Russia and China have been able to do this.
