Lockdown / Lockdown extended for a week in Haryana, these restrictions will remain in force

In view of the outbreak of Corona epidemic, the lockdown has been extended in Haryana for one more week. The Haryana government has issued an epidemic alert asking people to follow all the covid protocols to stay safe. In Haryana, this lockdown has been extended from July 19 to July 26. Under this, night curfew will also be imposed in the state. The duration of which will be from 11:00 pm to 5:00 am. At the same time, orders have been given to open hotels, restaurants, malls, bars and gyms with 50 percent capacity.

Earlier, the Haryana government had extended the ongoing lockdown period in the state till July 19 to deal with Kovid-19. However, the government also announced some relaxations for other people including students.

Along with this, the state government had also allowed many other exemptions. As per the order, universities and colleges have been permitted to call students for doubt resolution, practical classes in laboratories, practical examinations, offline examinations etc. but they will have to strictly follow the COVID-19 protocol

According to the order, university hostels will be opened only for the students appearing in the examinations.
