Lockdown Update / Lockdown extended in Maharashtra, restrictions will continue till June 15, exemption may be available in some districts

The decision has been decided to increase lockdown in Maharashtra between Corona Crisis. Lockdown will continue till June 15 in Maharashtra. After reviewing the government, I will consider relaxing in some districts. CM Uddhav Thackeray said on the decision to increase the lockdown that I am not enjoying ban, but it is demanding time.

Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray, while addressing the people of the state on Sunday, said that Lockdown has been extended till June 15. After review, the government will decide on exemption in some districts. Many people are threatening the movement when unlocking. I request them to be patient. CM said that I do not enjoy banning, but it is a demand for time, because the crisis of Corona is not there.

CM Uddhav said about the vaccine that Maharashtra is ready to vaccinate all the citizens. Vaccination may be day and night but there is a huge shortage of vaccines. We hope to meet and vaccine in June.

CM Uddhav said that the fight against Kovid has been going on for the last one and a half years. We have started several schemes. Free food to the poor, bank accounts are paying directly. However, now people are saying that the second wave of Corona is becoming weak, the matters are coming down. But still we have to be careful. That's why we have not put very strict lockdown. But there are some districts where the matters are increasing which is a matter of concern. In rural areas, the matters are slightly increasing which we have to stop.

About the third wave, CM Uddhav said that it will come, but when it does not know the exact date. The virus has changed a lot in the second wave with the first wave. Mutations have been. This virus is spreading very fast, the need for oxygen has increased. That is the emphasis on increasing the number of hospitals, beds etc.

He said about our coastal areas about the cyclone Taukte. Our officers and people did tremendous work. It was very difficult to work while following the Kovid Protocol. When I went to them, it came to know how much damage did the cyclone. In some places in coastal areas, we have to make permanent changes.
