Bus Accident News: A major road accident took place on Sunday morning on the Nashik-Gujarat highway in Maharashtra, in which a luxury bus fell into a 200 feet deep gorge. The incident happened around 5:30 am. According to preliminary information, 7 passengers died and 15 others were injured in this accident, some of whom are said to be in critical condition. The accident happened due to the bus going out of control towards Surat via Saputara Ghat in Nashik.According to the police, all the injured passengers have been admitted to a nearby hospital, where they are undergoing treatment. Most of the passengers were from Madhya Pradesh and had come to visit the famous pilgrimage places of Nashik. The police have started investigating the matter and investigation is being done to find out the cause of the accident.Second road accident: Truck falls on Jammu-Srinagar highway, 1 deadAt the same time, another painful road accident took place on Saturday on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway. A truck loaded with liquor bottles fell into a deep gorge near Battery Chashma in Ramban district. The driver of the truck, Rafaqat Khattana, lost control at the turn, due to which the truck fell into a 300 feet deep gorge. Yasir Ali died on the spot in this accident, while the driver and two others were seriously injured. The injured have been admitted to the hospital, and their condition is also said to be critical.These two accidents have once again highlighted the serious problem of road safety. Many accidents occur due to sudden loss of control on the road, which sometimes proves fatal. The need to strengthen road safety measures is now felt more than ever, so that such accidents can be avoided and the lives of passengers can be saved.
