MAHARASTRA / Major accident during cleaning of septic tank in Pune, four people died due to suffocation

A major accident took place on Wednesday while cleaning a septic tank in Pune, Maharashtra. Four people died of suffocation in the accident.

According to the police, the incident took place around 11.30 am at Kadam Vak Vasti in Loni Kalbhor area on the outskirts of Pune. The incident happened when the four men were cleaning the septic tank of a house. As soon as the information was received, the fire brigade reached the spot and pulled out the four one by one. All four were in a state of unconsciousness. He was immediately taken to the hospital, where he was declared brought dead.
