Terrorist arrest continues in Jammu and Kashmir. In this episode, security forces busted a terror module of banned terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) in Budgam district of Jammu and Kashmir and arrested three Lashkar associates. This information was given by the Jammu and Kashmir Police on Tuesday.
Actually, the arrested terrorist associates have been identified as Ashiq Hussain Hajam Ghulam Mohi Din Dar and Tahir bin Ahmed. Police said in an official statement that the Budgam Police along with 181 battalions of the 53 Rashtriya Rifles (RR) and Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) arrested three terror associates of Lashkar-e-Taiba and arrested three terrorist associates of the outlawed Lashkar-e-Taiba. A terrorist module busted.During this operation, the security forces also recovered incriminating material of Lashkar-e-Taiba along with arms and ammunition from their possession. A Chinese pistol, two pistol magazines, 22 pistols, one AK magazine and 30 AK rounds along with a bike used in the terror crime have also been recovered in this case.Preliminary investigation revealed that the arrested terrorist associates were involved in transportation of terrorists, arms and explosive material and were providing logistical support to Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists in the district. A case has been registered at Chadoora Police Station Chadoora under relevant sections of the law. Further investigation is being done.
