Mukesh Ambani: The person who sent a threatening email to industrialist Mukesh Ambani has finally been arrested. Mumbai Police has arrested the accused from Telangana. The accused had threatened Mukesh Ambani by sending 5 emails. Also, the accused had first demanded Rs 20 crore, then Rs 200 crore and then Rs 400 crore. The name of the arrested accused is Ganesh Vanpardhi. The court has ordered police custody of the arrested accused till 8 November. Police said that he had sent the email under a fake name.

On October 27, a mail was received on Mukesh Ambani's email account, in which the person had demanded Rs 20 crore from Mukesh Ambani and threatened to leave if he did not pay the money.

After receiving that email, based on the complaint of Mukesh Ambani's security in-charge, Gadevi police filed an FIR against an unknown person under sections 387 and 506 (2) of the IPC.

Had emailed posing as Shadab Khan

According to the police, the person sending threatening emails to Mukesh Ambani was using a fake name. He called himself Shadab Khan. Earlier, an email was sent to industrialist Ambani and he was threatened with death. If the accused does not pay Rs 20 crore, he will be killed.

He received the first e-mail on October 27, in which a ransom of Rs 20 crore was demanded. Then on October 28, a demand of Rs 200 crore was made. The third mail came on 30 October. After this he was again threatened through email for the fourth time. A ransom of Rs 400 crore was demanded.

Even before this, Mukesh Ambani was threatened

The Ambani family has been receiving such threatening calls and emails in the past also. A year ago i.e. in October 2022, a person had given a big threat to blow up Reliance Foundation Hospital and the Ambani family. After that a case was registered at Dr. DB Marg police station.

After that, in August 2022, industrialist Mukesh Ambani was also threatened. Before this, Mukesh Ambani and his late father Dhirubhai Ambani were repeatedly subjected to abusive language and death threats. This time after receiving the threat, the police started immediate action and arrested the accused.
