In the all-party meeting with PM Narendra Modi, there was a demand to restore full statehood to Jammu and Kashmir and to conduct the assembly elections at the earliest. Meanwhile, after the meeting, Mehbooba Mufti has once again raised the rage of Pakistan. PDP chief Mehboob Mufti said that she will restore Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir. He also said that India should hold talks with Pakistan for the peace of Jammu and Kashmir.

Mehbooba Mufti after leaving PM Modi's meeting said that the people of J&K are in a lot of trouble after August 5, 2019. They are angry, upset and emotionally broken. They feel humiliated. I told the PM that the way Article 370 was abrogated unconstitutional, illegal and unethical, it is not accepted by the people of Jammu and Kashmir.

He further said that the people of Jammu and Kashmir will fight in a constitutional, democratic, peaceful manner. Month or year, we will restore Article 370 in J&K as it is a matter of our identity. We did not get it from Pakistan, but our country gave it to us, JL Nehru and Sardar Patel gave it.

Mehbooba further said that I congratulated her that she spoke to Pakistan and this led to a ceasefire and reduced infiltration. If they want to talk to Pakistan again for the peace of Jammu and Kashmir, they should. They should also negotiate trade with Pakistan, as trade between the two countries has come to a halt, it is a source of employment for many people.

Let us tell you that earlier, for the first time in the last nearly two years, Prime Minister Modi held talks with the political leadership of Jammu and Kashmir with 14 leaders of the Union Territory on Thursday to prepare a blueprint for the future strategy. Had an important meeting. This is the first such meeting chaired by Prime Minister Modi himself after the removal of most provisions of Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir and bifurcation of the state into two union territories.

Four former chief ministers and four former deputy chief ministers of the erstwhile state of Jammu and Kashmir attended the meeting, which lasted about three and a half hours at the Prime Minister's official residence at 7, Lok Kalyan Marg in the capital. These leaders include National Conference patron Farooq Abdullah, his son and former Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) President and former Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti, former Union Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad, Congress leader and former Deputy Chief Minister Tara Chand, State Congress President. Ghulam Ahmed Mir is the chief. Apart from these, People's Conference leader and former Deputy Chief Minister Muzaffar Hussain Baig, Panthers Party's Bhim Singh, Communist Marxist Party's (CPI-M) Mohammad Yusuf Tarigami, Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party's Altaf Bukhari and People's Conference's Sajjad Lone were present in the meeting. Jammu and Kashmir unit president Ravindra Raina, former deputy chief ministers Kavinder Gupta and Nirmal Singh also reached the Prime Minister's residence to attend the meeting on behalf of the BJP.
