India-China: Talks took place between the two countries today regarding the current situation of India and China near the Line of Actual Control (LAC). The 22nd meeting of the Working Mechanism of Consultation and Coordination on the India-China border was held today. The Ministry of External Affairs has told that in this meeting both the sides kept their talk openly about the current situation near the LAC. Both countries insisted on resolving the disputes on the India-China border at the earliest and reaching a conclusion. The situation in Eastern Ladakh was also discussed in this. Both the countries agreed to continue talks through diplomatic and military mechanisms. According to the Ministry of External Affairs, both the countries agreed to maintain stability on the border so that no incident of any kind happens there. According to the Ministry of External Affairs, talks between the two countries will soon be held at the senior commander level.
