Bihar / Minor dispute turned into communal clash, many injured in stone pelting

Violent clashes broke out between two groups in Lakhisarai, Bihar on Friday night. The dispute between two groups in the Kiul police station area here took hold and soon it turned into a communal clash. After this incidents of assault and stone pelting have come to the fore. Security has been increased at the spot after the incident. A huge police force has been deployed. Local officials say, investigation is being done to nab the accused.

According to the information, there was a dispute between two sects on Friday night in Hakimganj village of Kiul police station area. After this people from both the sides came face to face and the matter turned violent. Police officials said that several people were injured in stone pelting at the spot. Since then, there has been tension in the entire village. According to officials, preliminary investigation has revealed that there was a minor dispute between the two communities, but later it turned violent. After this, police of four police stations have been deployed on the spot. At present the situation is under control.
