Lucknow: According to the Supreme Court order, the central government will have to form a trust for the construction of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple in Ayodhya. The Modi government has started preparing for this. According to sources, in the upcoming winter session of Parliament, the Modi government may introduce a bill to form a trust. The session starts on 19 November and will run till 13 December.
The top official of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) said that we are far from giving any intervention, advice or suggestion in the formation of the trust. The central government has to decide everything. Although some people have approached the VHP to become members of the trust, we are not interested in furthering anyone's name. The government can also bring a bill in this winter session to form a trust.
The bill will be passed by both houses of parliament
Rajya Sabha MP and advocate Vivek Tankha says that the Supreme Court has directed the government to form a trust. Because of this, trust is likely to be created by making laws. In this regard, the bill has to be passed by both houses of parliament. Trust coming into existence by law will be autonomous and more secure.
After the decision to handover the land of Ramlala to Next Friend, the Center has started the process of handing over the 67 acres of Ayodhya acquired land to Trilokinath Pandey, Ramlala's next friend. However, Pandey does not want to take responsibility for the land before the formation of the trust. In the case, Trilokinath was a party as the next friend of Ramlala Virajman. Land will be handed over legally to Pandey. State and Central officials are engaged in the process of correcting the land documents and transferring the land.
