Cricket Desk: The World Test Championship final between India and New Zealand at the Hampshire Bowl in Southampton is seeing some fine performances from the bowling unit of both teams. The Blackcaps started Day five as favorites as they were reeling at 102 for two with Kane Williamson and Ross Taylor in the middle.

However, the Indian pace attack showed their temperament and discipline in the first session. The bowlers asked some tough questions from the New Zealand batters. It was Mohammed Shami who led the attack for India and breathed fire with the ball. Shami took as many as two wickets including the likes of Ross Taylor and BJ Watling before lunch.

While the ace seamer made headlines with his performance with the ball, there was another reason that resulted in him trending all over social media. A picture featuring Shami is going viral on social media where the pacer can be seen wearing a towel. It is no surprise that the weather in Southampton is chilly cold due to persistent drizzle and overcast conditions.

Shami needed to keep his body warm in order to produce magical spells. Thus, the pacer was trying to beat the cold weather by wrapping his body with a towel. The pictures of Shami wearing a towel on the field are being widely circulated on social media as the fans are coming up with hilarious memes and tweets.

The fourth day of the historic Test match was washed out due to rain while the Kiwis started day five as the favorites. However, Shami bowled magic as he helped India make a comeback in the Test match.

He picked BJ Watling, Ross Taylor, Kyle Jamieson, and Colin de Grandhomme. Ishant also had three under his belt as he managed to send Devon Conway, Kane Williamson, and Henry Nicholls back to the pavilion.
