Mohan Bhagwat Breaks Silence On Ram Mandir Donation Theft, Backs Hosabale Statement

RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat has expressed full agreement with Dattatreya Hosabale regarding the alleged theft of donations at the Ram Mandir. Hosabale termed the incident a blow to the faith of devotees and demanded strict punishment for the culprits while warning against anti-Hindu conspiracies.

Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat has officially broken his silence regarding the alleged embezzlement and theft of donations at the Ayodhya Ram Mandir. Speaking to reporters in Nagpur on Sunday, Bhagwat stated that he's in complete agreement with the statement previously issued by the RSS Sarkaryavah, Dattatreya Hosabale. Bhagwat emphasized his stance by telling journalists to refer to Hosabale's statement, affirming that his own opinion remains identical to that of the General Secretary.

Hosabale's Strong Stance on Devotees' Faith

The controversy gained significant momentum after Dattatreya Hosabale's remarks on Friday, while hosabale had expressed that the incident of theft involving the donation money at the Ayodhya Ram Mandir has dealt a very deep blow to the faith of Ram devotees and the entire Hindu community. He asserted that such an act isn't merely a financial crime but an assault on the spiritual sentiments of millions. Hosabale demanded that every individual found guilty in this case must be handed the strictest possible punishment to ensure justice and maintain the sanctity of the temple's administration.

Warning Against Anti-Hindu Conspiracies

In addition to demanding justice, Hosabale also highlighted a broader concern regarding the reputation of the religion. He warned that anti-Hindu forces are attempting to exploit this unfortunate incident to tarnish the image of Hinduism. To counter these efforts, he made a formal appeal to the Hindu society to maintain patience and peace during this difficult period. He stressed that staying calm and united is essential to ensure that such conspiracies to defame the community fail, while mohan Bhagwat's endorsement of these views underscores the seriousness with which the RSS leadership views the situation.

Crucial Trust Meeting and Investigation Progress

As the investigation into the donation theft intensifies, a significant meeting of the members of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust is scheduled for Monday. This meeting will take place at the Mani Ramdas Chawni in Ayodhya. The primary agenda is to discuss the initial report submitted by the Special Investigation Team (SIT) regarding the alleged theft, while this meeting is particularly critical as it occurs amidst two parallel investigations. One probe is being conducted by the SIT, whose tenure has been extended until the end of July, while the second investigation is being handled by the local police.

Enhanced Security and Counting Protocols

The Ram Mandir administration has already begun implementing much stricter regulations for the counting of donation money. These measures are a direct response to the ongoing investigation into financial irregularities, while the new protocols include Importantly improved CCTV surveillance throughout the counting areas. Plus, there is now strict control over entry and exit points of the counting rooms. The administration has even gone as far as monitoring the movements of the staff, including their breaks and visits to the bathroom. These changes are part of a broader effort to prevent any further manipulation of temple funds while investigators continue to scrutinize financial transactions and the assets of the accused individuals.
