On the first day, 72 monkeys were caught from the Civil Lines area. There are children in the caged monkeys, while the condition of the forest department is that only 100 dreaded monkeys will be caught. Although the municipal officials are claiming that the age of the caught monkeys ranges from 6 months to 7 years. On the other hand, there is resentment among the common people that the Municipal Corporation has been allowed to capture only 100 monkeys.

The Municipal Corporation took out the tender and gave the contract to catch the monkey to the team of Mathura. On Saturday, in the Civil Lines area, the team started the campaign to catch the monkey by putting a cage. City Health Officer Dr. Ashok Kumar said that 72 monkeys have been caught on the first day. The captured monkeys have been released in the forest area of ​​Pilibhit's Tiger Reserve. Among the captured monkeys are monkeys ranging from 6 months to 7 years.
