New Delhi: Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen arrived in India late on Friday for her three-day visit. His plane reached Delhi airport at around 2.45 pm. He was warmly received by Minister of State for External Affairs Meenakashi Lekhi. Frederickson is on a 3-day visit to India from 9 October to 11 October. During her visit, she will meet President Ram Nath Kovind and hold bilateral talks with PM Modi.

Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen will review progress in the field of 'Green Strategic Alliances' with PM Modi and discuss various aspects of bilateral relations. This is the first visit of a head of government to India during the last 20 months during the Corona period.

Along with many issues of technical and business cooperation between India and Denmark, the issue of extradition of Purulia arms scandal accused Kim Davy will also be on the negotiating table. In this case about 26 years old, India is constantly raising the matter of extradition of Davy. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also raised this matter during the virtual summit held between India and Denmark in September 2020 last year. According to the Ministry of External Affairs, India has been continuously raising this matter. Along with Denmark, it has been continuously trying to extradite the wanted Kim Davy to India. Its efforts will continue.

Denmark's Prime Minister will visit Agra on Sunday

Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen will visit the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort on Sunday. In view of this, the Taj Mahal will be closed for two hours for the general public on that day. The Prime Minister of Denmark will reach Kheria Airport in Agra directly from Denmark at 8 pm on Saturday, where she will be given a grand welcome. She is scheduled to visit the Taj Mahal on Sunday morning from six to eight after the night's rest, after which she will go to Agra Fort. She will again leave for New Delhi at 2 pm.
