It is very important for every person to follow the Indian traffic rules. If you are driving on the road and you have violated any traffic rule then you may have to pay a heavy challan.

One of these rules is to keep vehicle documents with you so that you can get information about your vehicle. If the traffic police asks you for vehicle documents during checking, then you will have to show them and if they are not present then you may have to fill the challan as well. One of these documents is the Pollution Certificate, which you will have to pay heavy damages if you do not keep it while driving.

If you forget some papers while driving in many other states including Uttar Pradesh, then many times the traffic police can release you after cutting a minor challan, but now in Delhi-NCR, your pocket can be loose if you drive without a pollution certificate. We are saying this because now it will be necessary to strictly follow this rule.

Pollution certificate is to check the pollution level of your vehicle. Many private companies also make it for your vehicle and in it the pollution level of your vehicle is written as well as your information and the validity of this certificate is written. This certificate can be made for several months for which there is a different charge.

If you now drive in Delhi-NCR and you have not got the pollution certificate made, then you will have to pay the full Rs 5,000 as damages, or even if your pollution certificate has expired, you will have to pay the same fine. In such a situation, it is mandatory for every driver to carry a pollution certificate along with all the papers with him.
