Jammu And Kashmir: The NIA will investigate the terrorist attack on an army vehicle in Poonch, Jammu and Kashmir. A five-member team of NIA will reach the spot today to take stock of the situation. Five jawans were martyred while one jawan was injured in the attack on an army truck on Thursday. The attack took place when the army truck was on its way to Poonch from Bhimber Gali.

Search for terrorists continues

PAFF took responsibility for the attack

Jaish's proxy organization People's Anti-Fascist Front (PAFF) has claimed responsibility for the attack. This terrorist organization is active in Jammu and Kashmir. In 2019, PFF emerged as a proxy organization of Jaish. This organization came into limelight after the abolition of Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir in 2019 and since then it has been carrying out terrorist attacks in Jammu and Kashmir. PAFF had also issued a warning regarding the G-20 meeting to be held in Jammu and Kashmir in the month of May.
