Bharatiya Janata Party National President Nitin Naveen launched a scathing attack on opposition parties during a program in Lucknow on Sunday. Addressing the gathering, Nitin Naveen stated that there was a time when every district in Uttar Pradesh had its own mafia don or strongman. However, he emphasized that the BJP government has worked tirelessly to eliminate this anarchy not only from the districts but also from the smallest villages of the state. He credited the current administration for restoring order and ensuring that the rule of law prevails over criminal elements.
Restoration of Law and Order
Nitin Naveen highly praised the law and order situation under the Yogi government in Uttar Pradesh. He claimed that the BJP government has successfully established the rule of law by ending the era of mafia and gunda raj. According to him, the government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is continuously working for the welfare of the poor and the overall development of the state. He noted that while Uttar Pradesh and Bihar were once referred to as BIMARU states—a term used to denote backwardness—and people had no faith in their development, today these states are setting new standards of progress, while he emphasized that where criminals once dominated these areas, law and order have now been strengthened, and women feel much safer than before.
Attack on Opposition Regarding Religious Faith
The BJP leader also targeted the opposition on the issues of the Ram Temple and religious faith, while he pointed out that those who were accused of ordering fire on Kar Sevaks in the past are now talking about faith. He alleged that certain political parties are merely trying to gain political mileage from religious issues, while nitin Naveen mentioned that his visit to Lucknow is part of the preparations for the upcoming elections in Uttar Pradesh, describing this campaign as a bugle for future political strategy. He asserted that any attempt to interfere with the faith associated with Lord Shri Ram wouldn't be tolerated, and the government would take necessary action and ensure reforms wherever required.
Silence on Insults to Deities
Naming Rahul Gandhi, Akhilesh Yadav, and Arvind Kejriwal, Nitin Naveen alleged that the opposition remained silent on several occasions when Hindu deities were insulted. He stated that whenever such insults occurred, the opposition parties chose to keep quiet. He reminded the audience that the struggle for the Lord Shri Ram temple lasted for 500 years, and the BJP and its workers have consistently fought to protect this faith. He reiterated that the party remains committed to safeguarding the religious and cultural values of the society against any form of disrespect.
Personal Legacy and Sacrifice
During the event, Nitin Naveen shared a personal anecdote, revealing that his father had traveled from Patna to Ayodhya as a Kar Sevak and had to spend 2 months in jail. He emphasized that the legacy of the BJP and its workers is defined by their struggle and sacrifice for the protection of Hindu faith. He concluded by saying that the BJP will continue to cherish this heritage and work towards preserving the religious and cultural values in society, ensuring that the sacrifices of the past aren't forgotten in the pursuit of a developed and secure state.
