India / No need to unite Hindus & Muslims, they're together: Mohan Bhagwat

Ghaziabad: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief or Sarsanghchalak, Mohan Bhagwat has said that Hindus and Muslims of India have same descendants and are "not two different groups". He was speaking in Ghaziabad. 

Bhagwat is all set to address a meeting of Muslim Rashtriya Manch (MRM), a sister organisation of the Sangh on July 5 in Ghaziabad. The agenda of the meeting will be to discuss Kashmir and about Article 370 and 35 A being irrelevant. The MRM will complete 20 years in 2022. 

Bhagwat was quoted by ANI saying, "It has been proven that we’re descendants of the same ancestors from the last 40,000 years. People of India have same DNA. Hindu & Musilm are not two groups, there is nothing to unite, they're already together."

“Approximately 30 to 40 office bearers of Muslim Rashtriya Manch will attend the address of RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat on July 5. The meeting will take place in Ghaziabad, ” a source said ANI. 

“Projects related to service, education and intellectual development are being run by the Muslim Rashtriya Manch and how to consolidate them in the right direction are some of the other topics that are likely to be taken up for discussion,” the source added.
