In February 2018, 35-year-old Rajesh allegedly killed his spouse and children, earlier than burying them below cement at his home in Noida.  Two months later, he allegedly killed his friend Rajendra in the Dholna place in Uttar Pradesh’s Kasganj.

Rajesh, police stated, was seeking to fake his very own demise and as such, picked Rajendra as the two bore a physical resemblance. Rajesh allegedly chopped off Rajendra’s arms and head and dumped the frame with a number of his ID cards in a close-by place.

Police stated he then headed off to Panipat in Haryana, wherein he did a surgical procedure on his nostril to hide his identity. All this, to preserve an illicit relationship with Ruby, a constable with the Uttar Pradesh police.

Rajesh almost pulled off the correct crime if not for an alert SP of the Uttar Pradesh police.

On Wednesday, more than 3 years after the murders, the Kasganj Police arrested Rajesh and exhumed the bodies of his spouse Ratnesh, 27, and their children — Avni and Arpit.

Police have also arrested Rajesh’s father, Banwari, a retired UP Police constable; Rajesh’s brothers Prabesh and Rajiv; their mom Indrawati and Ruby, his alleged girlfriend posted with Agra police.  The homicide weapon — an axe— used to kill all 4 have been recovered by the police.
