IND vs AUS: The four-match Test series between India and Australia is going to start from 9 February. Both the teams have started special preparations for this series to be held under the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. Especially the attitude of both the teams is depending more on the preparation of spin. While the Kangaroo team has invited India's young Ranji players to deal with Akshar Patel and Ravichandran Ashwin, the Indian team will now prepare with eight spinners instead of four. Let us tell you that four spinners Ravichandran Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja, Akshar Patel and Kuldeep Yadav are already part of the Indian squad.

Now preparation will be done with 4 not 8 spinners

According to a Cricbuzz report that surfaced on Friday evening, apart from these four, the national selectors have included four more net bowlers in the Indian squad. The special thing is that all these four are spinners. Quoting BCCI sources, the report said that 29-year-old left-arm spinner Saurabh Kumar from UP, 23-year-old leg-spinner Rahul Chahar from Rajasthan, 26-year-old left-arm spinner from Tamil Nadu R.K. Sai Kishore and Team India's rising star all-rounder Washington Sundar have been included in the team as net bowlers.

These four net bowlers will join the squad of the team in Nagpur. Despite having four main spinners in the main squad, including these four spinners for preparations is a big step by the board. At the same time, the board and selectors have not paid much attention to the pace department and that is the reason why no extra pacer has got a place in the team. India's main squad includes Mohammed Shami, Mohammed Siraj, Umesh Yadav and Jaydev Unadkat as fast bowlers. Out of which Siraj and Shami are almost certain to play and can land with two other spinners including Indian captain Ravindra Jadeja.

Team India practiced without Shreyas Iyer

The first match of the series will be played in Nagpur from 9 February. Team India players have reached there for this match. The team also sweated profusely on Friday. The players of the Indian team are practicing at the new and old Vidarbha Cricket Association (VCA) grounds here. Friday's session was at the old ground and Saturday's session is likely to be held at the new ground. The Indian team appeared here without Shreyas Iyer who is injured and BCCI may soon give an update on his playing or being ruled out.
