There is a way to do digital transactions offline, so you do not need to panic. Now you can send money to anyone with Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm even without internet. To use UPI without internet, all you have to do is use the *99# USSD code on your phone's dialer.

For digital transactions without internet, you need to have your phone and a pre-registered bank account. It is necessary to have money in the account. It is to be known that in India in November 2012, a special service was started in this matter. National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) introduced *99# service for non-smartphone and all mobile phone users. But later it was integrated so that the user can do UPI transactions even without internet connection. If you are wondering how to make UPI payment without Net, then we are telling you the complete step-by-step process.

How to make UPI payment: Download the BHIM app and complete the one-time registration after which you will be able to do offline UPI transactions: Step 1: Open the dial pad on your phone and type (*99#). Step 2: You will then be navigated to a new menu which will see seven options which include- Send Money, Receive Money, Check Balance, My Profile, Pending Request, Transaction and UPI PIN. Step 3: Press the number 1 on your dial pad to send money. This will enable you to send money using your registered phone number, UPI ID, or your account number and IFSC code.

Step 4-

If you select the UPI ID option, you will need to enter the UPI ID of the recipient. Step 5- Now enter the amount you want to transfer to the recipient and then enter your UPI PIN number. Step 6- Press the 'Send' option and you will get a confirmation once the transaction is completed. After successful transaction, you will be asked whether you want to save this recipient as beneficiary for future transactions. The service comes with a charge fee of 0.50 paise.
